Researcher of CSIC-Madrid, Dr. Jorge Curiel Yuste, started a colaboration between LEEP and the laboratory of Dr. Fernando Valladares. His line of research is soil carbon and microbes resperiation. The colaboration is for studies in Cerrado and Atlantic Forests.

Last week the researcher of Lisbon university visited the LEEP to initiate the INSPECTED.NET project. She and her doctorate student Cristina Antunes were in Viçosa for a conference about application of stable isotopes in ecology and physiology.
