During the ending ceremony of the XIX IBC in Shenzhen, China, Drs. Renata Meira and Joao Meira Neto presented Rio de Janeiro as the next host of the IBC in 2023. The ending ceremony had 3500 attendees and the Rio´s proposal was approved and received a lot of attention.
